About this product

Worth clearing up first: this is cordyceps militaris, lab-cultivated, and that distinction matters more than it might seem. Wild Himalayan cordyceps — a fungus that parasitises insect larvae in high-altitude terrain — can genuinely sell for more than gold by weight, which has made it one of the most expensive biological materials in the world and driven serious overharvesting pressure in the wild. Lab-cultivated cordyceps militaris now supplies most of the market instead, grown under controlled conditions rather than foraged, and that's what's in this pack: consistent, traceable, and priced at a fraction of what wild material would cost.

We dry and mill it to a fine powder so it's easy to dose without needing to cook or steep anything — a level teaspoon stirred into hot coffee, a smoothie, or even a dal at the end of cooking works, since the powder dissolves into liquid rather than sitting as gritty residue. It's used traditionally, and in sports nutrition circles today, for stamina support; we're not going to claim it does anything beyond that traditional and researched-interest framing, because the clinical evidence for cordyceps in humans is still early.

On a per-100g basis cordyceps carries a modest protein and potassium contribution, roughly in line with other culinary mushrooms, but the real value of the powder format is concentration and convenience rather than a specific number — you're getting a milled, shelf-stable ingredient you can build into a daily routine instead of a jar that sits unused.
